Art is Personal

I have been an avid painter since childhood and have been pursuing it seriously for over 20 years. In the past decade, I have received numerous commissions from individuals who have stumbled upon my work through friends, acquaintances or even strangers. My business has largely been driven by Instagram, where people find their way to me by hook or crook and ask me to do a specific painting for them.

Interestingly, most of my clients requests commissions with the intention of hanging it above their bed. At first, this seemed surprising to me, thinking they may prefer to hang it in the dining room or foyer. However, I love knowing there is an intimate connection I have with my clients through the paintings I create for them destined for their more personal spaces. It is a humbling experience to think that my art may play a role in someone's dreams, reading, or thoughtful moments as they close and start each day.
